Durable platinum holds the diamond super securely, and never needs a rhodium plating to look bright white, even after years of wear, unlike white gold. The fine detailing around the diamond gives the piece a Victorian/antique feel, and differentiates it from the plain bezel without adding any extra width or height. Flat edge of bezel prevents the creation of a cratering effect in the piercing caused by many V shaped prong settings. 1.2mm size provides a small sparkle, and is the smallest size appropriate for an initial nostril piercing. Jewelry is bent in classic coil shape. Platinum is nickel free and hypoallergenic.

Over the course of time, body oil and skin products can collect on jewelry and leave a residue which can occude stones. To keep your jewelry looking bright and new, take a soft headed toothbrush with some mild soap and gently brush the front and back of the stones and metal. Rinse thorougly with tepid water. We do not suggest putting jewelry in an ultrasonic to clean. Steam cleaning works well, but do not steam emeralds or opals as high heat can damage these stones.
